love poem

Last weekend, one of my oldest friends got married in a rad warehouse event on the wharf in London. It was a joyful day of dancing, shrieking, hugging, prosecco, heartfelt speeches, photobooth tomfoolery and a couple of old school garage DJs to end the night in true mayhem. They have just bought a house to redo so I think I wanted to write something about the simultaneous sense of building something fresh, yet tapping into the existing ancientness of love within any relationship. And that that love is as much spiritual as it is a case of atomic matter. Although that wasn’t really conscious when I began. Now they have read it, here it is. x
