15 minute chocolate oat biscuits

Wild_and_Good-Homepage_underline

We made these delicious sugar free chocolate oat biscuits in an “I need biscuits right now” moment after the beach. They are so easy to make, substantial and relatively healthy, being sweetened with make-on-the-spot date paste. We ploughed through a couple for breakfast too!

1 cup of dates
1 cup of spelt flour
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 1/2 cups of rolled oats
1 tbsp cocoa powder
a small knob of melted butter
a splash of almond milk

Add the dates and coconut oil to a food processor and blend into a paste. Add all the other ingredients and whizz until combined. Roll into balls and press down into biscuit shapes onto a greased baking tray. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge to keep the creamy slightly crumbly texture.

With love, xxx
